President:
Responsible for overseeing all operational and administrative activities of the Association. Shall call and chair meetings of the Executive Committee and be responsible for communications among the officers. The President also appoints members to committees with the confirmation of the Executive Committee and assumes the responsibilities of the Past President during the year immediately following her/his term of office. With assistance of the President-Elect, will host a meeting of the Deans at Fall Conference and any other meetings of Deans scheduled at other times during the year.
President-Elect:
Serves to assist the President in all areas as assigned with specific responsibilities for the recruitment of new members. Responsible for collection and distribution of information to ISPA membership. Will assume the post of President immediately after serving one term as the President-Elect. Arrange for selection and recognition of ISPA scholars.
Past President:
Serves as ex-officio member of the Executive Committee.
Secretary/Information Coordinator:
Will take and distribute minutes at all Executive Committee meetings and general business meetings and will publish and distribute the membership directory annually and the Newsletter on a regular basis. Also will maintain and manage the organizations website and other technology/social media sites.
Treasurer:
Responsible for all monies, collection of membership and conference fees, payment of all bills, and keeping of accurate records.
Conference Coordinator:
Responsible for the coordination, planning and execution of ISPA Conferences.
Conference Coordinator-Elect:
Will serve as the assistant to the Conference Coordinator for one year and will immediately assume the position of Conference Coordinator after one year. Shall be an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee.
Professional Development Chair:
Responsible for planning and coordination of professional development activities of the Association.
Gradate Student Representatives:
Responsible for: the liaison between the board and graduate students in student personnel and higher education programs; for communication among graduate students; and for advice on issues important to graduate students. One representative will be nominated from the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, the University of Northern Iowa and Drake University.
