ISPA 2008 Student Scholar Award
– A long-time tradition of welcoming and mentoring undergraduate & graduate students interested in student affairs
Award
In its 15th year, the ISPA Student Scholars Award provides selected students with free registration for the Annual Conference.
The ISPA Scholar Program is designed to encourage student interest in our profession. Scholarships in the form of registration to the annual ISPA conference are awarded to several undergraduate and graduate students each year.
Eligibility
Full-time senior undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to be ISPA Scholars.
Selection Criteria
Student applications will be judged by:
- Quality of the application, including punctuation, grammar and presentation
- Career/educational goals of the applicant
- Campus involvement, leadership roles
- Good academic standing
- Overall impression of the application

Deadline
The deadline for consideration for the 2008-2009 ISPA Student Scholar is extended to Friday, September 19, 2008. Recipients will be notified by September 24th. The 2008 ISPA Conference will open on October 13th with a pre-conference workshop and then continue through October 15th at the Airport Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
